Interfaith Pilgrimages
The Abraham Project
In the first two days of our pilgrimage we participated in no less than four religious services (in all three religions) and we have learned to love and appreciate one another in a way I couldn’t have imagined was possible before I left home.
—a Jewish pilgrim
This was really the pilgrimage of a lifetime. I learned that it's possible to pray together without feeling the need to give up your own integrity, your own beliefs. My own faith was deepened and my appreciation of others' was widened.
—a Christian pilgrim
It has been an overwhelming and touching experience to see our fellow Jews and Christians join us Muslims in performing the ma'arib prayer. I was equally moved by joining our fellow Jews in their Shabbat services and our fellow Christians during Sunday Communion.
